Reformer Classes
Our classes provide a full-body Pilates workout with the use of a specialised Reformer machine that enhances both resistance and support. This is a perfect option for those seeking a challenging and invigorating experience which can help you reach your fitness goals and achieve balance in your body and mind.
Fundamental Reformer
Level 1 - Available for new students and experienced students seeking a slower paced workout or injury recovery with lots of modification options, focusing on core strength, alignment, and flexibility. With personalised attention in a friendly atmosphere, you'll build confidence and a strong foundation for your Pilates practice. Our fundamentals class still offers a balanced full body workout for all who attend from complete beginner to more experienced.
Dynamic Reformer
Level 2 - A step up in intensity and pace with options for increased resistance and burn. The class is comprised of a fun, high-energy workout combining controlled, precise movements and more intense, dynamic sequences that challenge your core stability, coordination, and balance. You’ll be continuously moving and engaging different muscle groups, resulting in a high-energy session that leaves you feeling strong, empowered, and revitalised. Recommended to attend 3 Fundamentals classes first to familiarise yourself with the Reformer and movements.
Prenatal Reformer
Gentle, controlled, supportive, low impact exercises supported by the reformer bed tailored for expectant mothers at all stages of pregnancy to maintain strength, flexibility and feel empowered in their changing bodies. Gentle on joints and ligaments whilst very effectively strengthening the key muscles to help support posture, stability, flexibility , childbirth and postpartum recovery in particular the core, the pelvic floor, arms, legs and glutes. Adaption for all trimesters and can also be modified for beginners and those more experienced.
Please note: You can attend from the beginning of your pregnancy right though however if you’re in your 3rd trimester and have not attended any reformer classes during the earlier stages of your pregnancy, it’s not recommended to start now. Please confirm with your healthcare provider that it’s suitable for you to attend low impact non load bearing exercise during your pregnancy, for most women exercise during pregnancy is encouraged and highly beneficial.
